Tajikistan: Enhancing English Language Proficiency for the Legal Sector: The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a project to provide English language courses for the Judges and staff of the Supreme Court and the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Tajikistan. The aim of this project should focus on the English language proficiency of Supreme Court Judges, Supreme Court staff, and the officers of the MIA tailored to their distinct professional contexts, and to equip participants with the necessary linguistic tools. By addressing these gaps, the project seeks to facilitate judges’ and law enforcement officers’ communication skills, cross cultural understanding, and engagement in international legal and law enforcement matters and collaboration, and their participation in conferences, forums, and other events at the international level.
