Team Science Approaches Integrating Experimental and Computational Brain Aging Models (R21/R33 Clinical Trial Not Allowed): This FOA invites applications proposing to establish new, or significantly expand existing, interdisciplinary collaborations involving both experimental and computational researchers to simultaneously address a targeted research question in brain aging and Alzheimer's disease (AD),including Alzheimer's disease related dementias (ADRD). This FOA will use the R21/R33 to provide up to 2 years of R21 support for initial developmental activities and up to 3 years of R33 support for expanded activities. Through this award, investigators will develop a sustainable interdisciplinary collaboration across experimental and computational laboratories to support projects that address key research questions in brain aging and AD/ADRD.
