This announcement is to provide notice of the National Park Service (NPS) intention to fund the following project activities without competition. OVERVIEW:The objective of this Agreement is to enter into a cooperative agreement for public purpose between the U.S. Department of the Interior NPS and the City to perform a study to enhance pedestrian and transit safety in the City and around the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.

This funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide notice of the National Park Service (NPS) intention to fund the following project activities without competition. Single Source - Only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. The City is the recipient of a TRIP grant to study to examine safety improvements needed within the jurisdiction of the City's Bayfront Area adjacent to San Marcos National Monument. The City has sole jurisdiction of the Bayfront area. There are no other local government jurisdictions serving St. Augustine. The City controls the planning and zoning board and has a intergovernmental relation and substantial involvement with the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization.
