Understanding the Mechanisms for Fisher Declines in Areas of Mixed-Severity Wildlife: Post Fire Decision Support Tools for Managers: Estimate occupancy of small mammals pre- and post-fire for the projects areas on the Klamath National Forest and the surrounding private forest lands. Additionally, the results from the occupancy analysis will be used to evaluate the effects of prey on fisher density in the study area. A final synthesis of these analyzes and results will be provided to the Service as a report with any necessary figures, maps, tables, etc.
