Grant Description: The Office of Citizen Exchanges, Youth Programs Division, of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) announces an open competition for the Youth Leadership Program for Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Nicaragua. Public and private non-profit organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3) may submit proposals to recruit and select youth and adult participants in Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and/or Nicaragua and to provide the participants with short-term, U.S.-based exchanges focused on civic education, community activism, and leadership along with follow-on projects in their home communities.
