Additional Information on Eligibility: This MURI competition is open only to U.S. institutions of higher education, including DoD institutions of higher education, with degree-granting programs in science and/or engineering, to the extent that the institution is not designated as an FFRDC, a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC), or other University Affiliated Laboratory (UAL).
Grant Description: The MURI program supports basic research in science and engineering at U.S. institutions of higher education in areas of potential interest to DoD. The program is focused on multidisciplinary research efforts that intersect more than one traditional scientific and/or engineering discipline to address scientific issues of interest to DoD.
