- Grant Description
- The purpose of this initiative is to encourage research which will increase rates of HIV screening/testing and increase the number of persons who follow-up on a positive HIV screening test and receive treatment, particularly in underserved and at-risk populations within the United States. With this initiative, the ultimate goal is to decrease the rate of HIV transmission and increase the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) by initiating diagnosis and treatment earlier.
