Native Plant Community Restoration: Project Goals ¿ This project will seek to help the native plant communities of Bryce Canyon National Park to recover from recent fire and human-caused disturbances. B. Project Objectives ¿ This project will seek to accomplish the following objectives: a. Reduce the relative cover of invasive exotic species in mixed conifer forests that have recently experienced natural fire. b. Restore communities of native grassland meadows that have been altered by historic land use and the suppression of wildfire. c. Reintroduce valuable native species for the benefit of protected wildlife. d. Improve the natural landscape in and around visitor use areas by reducing visitor impacts to soils and native vegetation and re-establishing native plant species.
