OJJDP FY 2011 National Juvenile Probation Census Project: Funding under this solicitation will support the implementation and ongoing development and maintenance of two complementary national data collection programs that make up OJJDPs National Juvenile Probation Census Project (NJPCP): the Census of Juvenile Probation Supervision Offices (CJPSO) and the Census of Juveniles on Probation (CJP). OJJDP established the NJPCP to measure the number and characteristics of juveniles under probation supervision and the characteristics and practices of juvenile probation supervision offices in the United States. This solicitation is authorized by Sections 221223 of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDP Act) of 1974, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 5631-5633.

Additional Information on Eligibility
Applicants are limited to states (including territories), units of local government (including federally-recognized tribal governments, as determined by the Secretary of the Interior), nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education). For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee. OJJDP welcomes joint applications from two or more eligible applicants; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and financial management purposes) and the others indicated as co-applicants.
