Partnering and Communicating Together: The intent of this NOFO is to develop, disseminate, and monitor HIV communication messages through strategic partnerships to populations with the greatest health disparities. Given that there are limited resources to devote to partner activities, the NOFO focuses efforts on communities highly impacted by HIV (e.g., gay and bisexual men, transgender women, black/African American communities, Hispanic/Latino communities and youth and emerging adults) and in jurisdictions where the epidemic is most prevalent, new infections are taking place, and that have been previously overlooked by similar programs. In addition, the NOFO seeks to leverage organizations from across a variety of sectors including but not limited to civic and social organizations, LGBT organizations, health care provider associations, faith-based institutions, media outlets, and foundations. The NOFO applicants must demonstrate ability to leverage existing organizational structure, networks, and communication platforms to disseminate Let's Stop HIV Together campaigns and other CDC HIV resources via one or both categories:Category A: Digital and Social MediaDisseminate Let's Stop HIV Together campaign materials and other CDC HIV resources via various digital communication channelsLeverage digital influencers, partners, and network to expand the reach of Let's Stop HIV Together campaign materials and other CDC HIV resourcesExamples of digital media include broadcast, blogs, mobile channels, e-blast, webinars, articles, podcasts, and e-newsletters, and other digital platforms; examples of social media include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social platforms.Category B: EventsDisseminate Let's Stop HIV Together campaign materials and other CDC HIV resources via exhibit booths, workshops, digital and print advertisement, conference bag inserts, and other mechanismsExamples of national events includes conventions, conferences, summits and other convenings that draw national audiences and/or a series of regional events that support a national engagement strategy (e.g., prides, town halls, tours, forums).
