Alaska Native Plant Material Development Project: The principle purpose of this project is to develop a storehouse of local native seed that can be used for reseeding and rehabilitation of disturbed lands all over Alaska. The establishment of native species will prevent the infestation of noxious and invasive weeds that disturb natural processes, reduce forage and cover for wildlife and influence the natural fire regime.
