BLM CA Coast and King Range National Conservation Area Plant Conservation Program: BLM will work cooperatively with a non-profit organization to implement an integrated strategy of watershed restoration throughout the Mattole River basin. The BLM and the recipient will cooperate on issues and activities regarding long-term planning, project implementation, and monitoring of watershed restoration activities designed to restore Pacific salmon populations listed under the federal Endangered Species Act.

The BLM will work cooperatively with a non-profit organization to recover native plant populations, grassland, shrub, or forest types, or specific wildlife or fish habitat through restoration and maintenance of vegetation types, seral stages, or structure desirable to meet BLM and BLM/recipient collaborative objectives, in the King Range NCA and surrounding areas.
