- Grant Description
- In this program BLM and the recipient will collect rare and important plant species seed in-situ (species in their natural habitats); Monitor rare and important plant species; collect and conserve germplasm from plants in long term ex-situ (artificial propagation) storage. Research, test, store, and maintain germplasm of species and reintroduce species in native habitats. This program will also provide an opportunity to train students and volunteers, and develop educational materials and programs for the public on Plant Conservation.
