- Grant Description
- This funding opportunity will provide ongoing support for the Central Valley Joint Venture Project Tracking System. It consists of an Internet-accessed database and internet map service that are used to enter and view project data and project maps. The system allows joint venture partners to input and track project information in a timely manner, providing JV staff and partners up-to-date information on their progress toward JV habitat goals at any time. It also provides individual JV partners with current spatial and tabular information from other JV partners. This allows for more efficient planning of upcoming projects through better communication among partners. Currently the system tracks project information for more than 1,200 current and historical projects. In additional to tracking accomplishments, a series of basin planning maps will be produced for use by CVJV Committees.
