- Secretarys Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS07-744 CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, "Expanding Uptake for Interventions to Prevent the Transmission of HIV from Mothers to Their Children (PMTCT) in the Republic of Uganda by Using Community-Based Strategies under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief." Approximately $1,000,000 will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately two awards. The purpose of the program is to increase uptake of Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) interventions in the Republic of Uganda through appropriate and effective community based strategies.
