- The purpose of this grant is to publicize the awareness of the Residential Sprinkler Activation project nationwide. The United States Fire Administration (USFA) is seeking an application from the National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) to develop a comprehensive listing of communities that have residential sprinkler ordinances, obtain data from these communities, and evaluate the performance/effectiveness of residential sprinklers in fire situations.
