Additional Information on Eligibility
This is a notice of intent to award the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) up to $20,000 under justification 505 DM 2.14 (B4). The IDFG is uniquely qualified as they are the section 10 permit holder and responsible party for sage grouse monitoring and compliance issues under the Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances.
Grant Description
This contract is needed to implement the Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances (CCAA) for greater sage-grouse in the West-Central Planning Area currently in place between the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG), and to develop site-specific sage-grouse conservation plans for private landowners. Idaho Department of Fish and Game has the experience and expertise required to implement the CCAA and develop site-specific plans for private landowners.
