Annual Program Statement for "Global Climate Change": The purpose of this APS is to outline key climate change priorities for USAID and solicit interest from potential partners in meeting the goals and objectives of the Agencys Global Climate Change Program. The GCC Team will have up to $2 million available in FY06 discretionary project funds under this APS. The GCC Team anticipates making at least 5 awards, with an anticipated average size of $250,000/per year per project- dependent upon responses received. The actual number of awards under this APS is subject to the availability of funds as well as the viability of concept papers received. It is expected that activities awarded may last from 1 to 3 years. It is anticipated that a combination of grants and cooperative agreements will be used under this APS, depending upon the awardees and types of projects selected.
