Community Philanthropy - Enabling Legal Environment: Localworks Community Philanthropy – Enabling Legal Environment Activity.The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified local and regional organizations to implement Community Philanthropy – Enabling Legal Environment Activity. See Section C of this Request for Applications (RFA) for eligibility information.The purpose of this activity is to enhance the culture of local community philanthropy in BiH as a tool towards self-reliance of local development. The goal of the activity is to improve the legal and policy environment for community philanthropy, which will stimulate and enable growth of a local giving ecosystem in Bosnia and Herzegovina.For full RFA package please go to “Related Documents” tab. Electronic responses are required. Please use [email protected] for official correspondence regarding this RFA.The deadline for questions is March 17, 2020, 9:00 am Sarajevo local time. Please ensure questions are concise and specific and make specific reference to page and section numbers. Responses to questions received prior to the deadline will be furnished to all potential applicants through an amendment to this RFA posted to www.grants.gov.The closing date for applications is April 20, 2020, 3:00 pm Sarajevo local time.Issuance of this RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the Government nor does it commit the Government to pay for any costs incurred in preparation or submission of the application.
