Draft PD - Strengthening Institutions for Peace: USAID/Ethiopia announces its intention to invite comments and suggestions on the attached Program Description (PD) for the implementation of a Cooperative Agreement, "Strengthening Institutions for Peace & Development II (SIPED II) in Ethiopia". The SIPED II project will aim to provide tools of peace building and accountable governance to increase the peace building ability and resiliency of households, communities and governing institutions. The program is being designed to partner with government officials and local communities The purpose of posting this invitation is to solicit comments/suggestions to refine the quality of the draft PD and enhance the anticipated RFA for the SIPED II. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to review the attached PD and provide comments. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR COMMENTS. IT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS. The Request for Applications (RFA) is planned for issue in late June or early July 2012.
