2004 Request for Proposals: Drinking Water Tribal Set-Aside Grants: EPA Region 9 is pleased to be soliciting proposals for approximately $3.7 million under the Drinking Water Tribal Set-Aside (DWTSA) Program. This program provides the opportunity for Tribes within Region 9 (California, Nevada, and Arizona) to obtain funding through grants and interagency agreements with the Indian Health Service for improvements to public water systems. The funding will be used to address the most significant public health threats posed by inadequate public drinking water system infrastructure. This is an initial solicitation. This assistance will be awarded through the Safe Drinking Water Act, Section 1452.
