2005 $20,000 Homeland Security Awards: $20,000 Homeland Security Awards The Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2005 $20,000 Homeland Security Awards honoring cutting edge innovations, and providing incentive for continuing research and/or a specific project. The awards will be bestowed on living United States citizens who are making or have recently made significant and positive beneficial contributions. Four $5,000 Homeland Security Awards will be presented to individuals or companies that are making measurable and constructive contributions related to basic and/or advanced research in the following four fields: 1) Biological, Radiological, Nuclear; 2) Border/Transportation Security; 3) Emergency Response; and 4) Information Sharing. All nominations are accepted online. See below for the website. The deadline for the 2005 Homeland Security Awards Nominations is Friday, April 29, 2005.
