2018 CyberTipline Program: This is a funding opportunity to fund the promotion of public awareness of the CyberTipline®, formerly known as the National Child Pornography Tip Line. The CyberTipline® belongs to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and is a law enforcement priority. This funding is to support promotional activities to educate law enforcement, the public, electronic service providers (ESPs) and other entities, globally, of the benefits of using the CyberTipline®. This can be done through education, events, posters, brochures, and other means that reach people throughout the world. This effort is to increase awareness of the CyberTipline®, a tool which helps prevent and reduce the sexual exploitation of children. The ICE/HSI Cyber Crimes Division has the following objectives: ⢠To cultivate effective reporting by disseminating information to the general public, online users, Electronic Service Providers (ESPs) and domestic/international Law Enforcement, regarding the use of the CyberTipline® to report child exploitation. ⢠To make known, both domestically and internationally, there is an established avenue, the CyberTipline®, for reporting child sexual exploitation. ⢠To encourage members of the public to use the CyberTipline® for reporting child sexual exploitation and prevent further victimization.
