Additional Information on Eligibility
USAID is seeking applications from registered U.S. and non-U.S. non-governmental organizations, non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations that have experience as outlined in the APS. It should be noted that USAID will not pay any recipient profit as defined in 22 CFR 226.81. However, this not does prohibit any recipient from commercializing aspects of this program as specified in Section 2.3 of this APS, consistent with the provisions included in any actual agreement resulting from this APS. This APS is issued as a public notice to ensure that all interested and qualified organizations have a fair opportunity to submit applications for funding. Eligible organizations could include, for example, foundations, non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations (FBOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), host country organizations, private organizations affiliated with public academic institutions and international non-governmental organizations, private companies, professional associations and consortiums of the above. FBOs, CBOs, and private companies, in particular, are strongly encouraged to submit applications.
