Advancing Adolescent Tobacco Cessation Intervention Research (R34 Clinical Trial Optional): The purpose of this RFA is to stimulate research on the development and evaluation of tobacco cessation interventions for adolescents, with an emphasis on ages 14-20. We have chosen to focus on this developmental period because it represents the area of greatest need with respect to the existing evidence on use patterns and treatment gaps. It also targets the developmental risk period for which we will see the maximum benefit from early intervention.
