Alumni Micro Grants Fund: This cooperative agreement proposes to create the Alumni Micro Grants Fund, with the objective to strengthen the relationship with our alumni network by providing financing of social impact projects at the micro-scale (ranging from $500 to $1,000) initiated and implemented by alumni of exchange programs administered by PAS India across the five posts that comprise Mission India – New Delhi/North India, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. A single alumnus or alumna, or group of alumni or alumnae, of PAS-administered exchange programs from across India, including the Tibetan Community-in-Exile, and Bhutan, will be eligible to apply for social impact projects under the micro grant fund. This alumnus/alumni or group will be considered a sub-grantee. Awarded micro-grants should range between a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $1,000. Projects under the Alumni Micro Grants Fund should be in alignment with Mission India goals, which PAS New Delhi Exchanges will provide. The grantee's role in supporting this alumni micro grants fund will comprise the following components: designing and executing a marketing strategy, developing a streamlined application and proposal selection process, creating a disbursement mechanism for funds, and developing a project monitoring and closure procedure. Final approvals of all projects under the Alumni Micro Grants Fund will be given by PAS India. (Please refer to the full announcement available under related documents tab.)
