B Cell Help Immunology Program for AIDS Vaccine Strategies (R01): The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to: (1) support multidisciplinary projects that define the role(s) played by innate immunity and T cells in shaping the B cell response to HIV-1 antigens; and (2) identify strategies to modulate innate immune mechanisms and T cell differentiation pathways to optimize B cell helper functions for enhancing HIV-1 vaccines and generating long-term memory.
