BJA FY25 Connect and Protect: Law Enforcement Behavioral Health Response Program: This funding opportunity seeks to fund programs that support collaborations between law enforcement and behavioral health agencies to improve public safety responses and outcomes for people who qualify with behavioral health needs. The goal is to implement deflection and diversion programs at first contact, such as crisis response and intervention teams, co-responders and other collaborative model approaches. The program focuses on improving safety and well-being for people with mental health disorders (MHDs) or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs).
