BLM-NM Local Youth/Young Adult Engagement in Natural Resource Management, Farmington Field Office, New Mexico: To provide meaningful work experience for local area youth (ages 16-25), so they can gain an understanding and appreciation for natural resource management, as well as work experience, training and skill development while providing BLM with cost-effective work crews to complete on-ground projects for the renewable resources programs (range, recreation and wildlife). This project will support President Obama's America's Great Outdoors Initiative and aligns with the spirit of the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps.
