Beekman Creek Restoration Project: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. This Notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a Cooperative Agreement to Friends of the Bay Inc. under the authority CFDA 15.658 Natural Resource Damage Assessment, Restoration and Implementation. The Service proposes to provide financial assistance to the recipient to conduct stream restoration along Beekman Creek. These activities are being carried out pursuant to the ¿2014 Final Restoration Plan and Environmental Assessment Addendum for the Mattiace Petrochemical Site.¿ A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505DM2, paragraph 2.14 (B) (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
