Behavioral Tasks Targeting Brain Systems Relevant to Anhedonia (R01 Basic Experimental Studies with Humans Required): This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) encourages research to develop task-based behavioral measures that are shown to engage brain systems relevant to anhedonia using neuroimaging or other brain measures with similar spatial resolution. The goal is to identify behavioral tasks that can be used as quantitative tools in future studies of the functional constructs associated with anhedonia and in treatment development. This Funding Opportunity Announcement is for basic science experimental studies involving human participants that fall within the NIH definition of a clinical trial and also meet the definition of basic research.
