Bird Conservation in the Upper Midwest: This announcement solicits proposals for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Midwest Migratory Bird Conservation Program, covering the states of IL, IN, IA, MI, MN, MO, OH, and WI. In 2014, our grant program will focuse on: monitoring to evaluate the effects of wetland management on Midwest marshbirds, development of a strategic plan for grassland bird conservation in the Midwest, and identifying and implementing conservation strategies to address threats to Golden-winged Warblers during the non-breeding season.
