Broadcast and Digital Journalism Workshop: The United States Embassy in Brasília, Brazil, announces a notification of funding opportunity (NOFO) to support a one-week workshop in Brasilia for 25-30 journalism students with up to U$50,000 in FY2018 for a project period not to exceed one year. The preliminary start date for this activity is February 18, 2019, and one award is anticipated as a result of this NOFO. However, should both parties consider the results of this exchange to be positive – and also subject to availability of funds – we may agree to renew this NOFO of up to two additional years. This workshop should provide hands-on training to journalism students on all stages of producing news, via broadcast and digital media.
