COPS FY 2010 Community Policing Development (CPD): The purpose of the Community Policing Development solicitation is to advance the practice of community policing in law enforcement agencies through training and technical assistance, the development of innovative community policing strategies, applied research, guidebooks, and best practices that are national in coped. This grant program will be open to all public governmental agencies, profit and non-profit institutions, universities, community groups, and faith-based organizations. Initiatives that primarily or solely benefit one or a limited number of law enforcement agencies or other entities will not be considered for funding.
