Central Asian 48 Hour Film Race and the Independent Film Network: The Public Affairs Section of the Consulate General of the United States in Almaty, Kazakhstan and the Embassy of the United States in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan (Mission Kazakhstan) are pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity. Mission Kazakhstan invites all eligible organizations to submit a proposal for the operation of the Central Asian 48 Hour Film Race and the continued maintenance and development of the Central Asian Independent Film Network.The 48 Hour Film Race is a program that supports the growth and development of emerging independent filmmakers across Central Asia through a signature two-day contest in which teams, of up to five individuals, consisting of both amateur and professional filmmakers, create a short film in 48 hours.
