Collaborative Center in Control Science: The Control Design and Analysis Branch (AFRL/VACA) is the Control Science Center of Excellence in the Air Force Research Laboratorys Air Vehicles Directorate. The Center is active in conducting basic and applied research under AFOSR and directorate sponsorship in the broad area of aerospace dynamics and control. The Center is internationally known for its technical contributions and its ability to transition technology to the warfighter. Current areas of interest include cooperative control of unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and modeling and control of hypersonic vehicles.
