Collaborative Multi-site Research in Addiction (COMRAD) (R01): -Purpose. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) seeks to increase the collaboration of investigators at two or more sites in order to address critical issues in the epidemiology, services, and prevention of substance abuse and related disorders that require sample sizes or sample diversity greater than a single site can reasonably attain. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the R01 grant mechanism. I -Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.
