Collaborative Research on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and Delayed Effects of Traumatic Brain Injury: Neuropathology and Neuroimaging Correlation (U01): The initiative will support a multicenter, systematic and comprehensive investigation of the neuropathology of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and the delayed effects of traumatic brain injury using postmortem biospecimens, and histological and neuroimaging tools as a foundation for future studies to develop in vivo diagnostics.
