Commercialization of Advanced Technology Program: The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego), is soliciting proposals under this Research Announcement (RA) for continuation of the Commercialization of Advanced Technology (CAT) program. In operation since July 2001, the CAT program employs an academic-industry-government collaborative process to accelerate the commercialization of cutting edge technology in support of military operations, homeland defense and other DoD defined requirements. The CAT program provides a competitive vehicle for identifying solutions for government technology requirements and a comprehensive market-driven methodology for moving emerging technology solutions to the commercial and government marketplaces.
