Community Engagement in Bilingual Education: USAID/Mozambique is issuing a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NFO) for a holistic and integrated community engagement intervention targeting school council members, school directors, students, teachers, parents, and community leader s where the school is located in the provinces of Zambezia and Nampula. USAID anticipates that the program resulting from this NFO will be funded for a maximum of $4.65 million dollars combined for both provinces and will have a maximum of three-year period of performance (2020-2022). If two (2) awards are issued the cumulative total amount of both awards will not exceed $4.65 million. USAID intends to make one (1) or two (2) awards to the applicant or applicants who best meets the objectives of this funding opportunity based on the merit review criteria described in this RFA subject to a risk assessment. USAID is seeking to fund one to two local implementing partners to provide comprehensive, high quality, and cost-effective services to meet the activity objectives. Please note that Applicant (s) can either apply to one or to both provinces; all applications will be considered.
