Connecting to Collections Statewide Implementation Grants: The Connecting to Collections Statewide Implementation Grants fund projects that implement the plans or models created through IMLS Connecting to Collections Statewide Planning Grants. These projects will be designed to address priorities identified in the Heritage Health Index:- To provide safe conditions for collections- To develop an emergency plan- To assign responsibility for collections care- To work collaboratively to increase public and private support for, and raise public awareness about, collections careThese grants are designed to encourage people and institutions in each state to collaborate in specifically addressing the most pressing needs of its collections-holding institutions (e.g. museums, libraries, archives). Applicants should describe what has already been accomplished; name the institutions, organizations, and people to be involved in the implementation process; and outline their plan's specific steps to improve collections care.

U.S. nonprofit libraries and museums that meet the criteria below are eligible. In addition, a library or museum consortium or association is eligible to apply. Any single organization need not have statewide stewardship; this statewide perspective can be achieved through partnerships. More than one application may be submitted from an individual State, but only one application per State will be funded. Individuals are not eligible to apply.
