Countering Dprk Proliferation Activities East & South Africa: The purpose of this award is to counter DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA's (DPRK) activities in East and South Africa, which could contribute toward the development of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). ISN/ECC has identified, partly based on a report by the United Nations panel of experts, a requirement to assist the Governments of South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
