Design and Implement Status Survey for Cape Fear Shiner: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission¿s (NC WRC) Aquatic Wildlife Diversity Program proposes to conduct a new status assessment, revisiting sites assessed in 2007. The NC WRC will first help define survey methods in the context of how a team of species experts defines resiliency, redundancy, and representation for the Cape Fear Shiner. Accordingly, this project will provide current species status data in a context most useful to natural resource management agencies.
