Developing Predictive Models of the Impact of Genomic Variation on Function (U01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed): The purpose of this FOA is to solicit applications for Predictive Modeling and Analysis Projects. These projects will develop and apply innovative computational models to predict the impact of genomic variation on genome function and/or phenotype. Projects funded through this initiative will become part of the Impact of Genomic Variation on Function Consortium. As members of this Consortium, predictive modeling projects will be expected to work closely with one another and other Consortium components to accelerate understanding of how genomic variation impacts human health and disease through the coordination of data collection strategies and analyses.
