Enhancing Capacity for Strategic and Applied Research Activities in Support of Control and Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases: The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to expand CDC's network of collaborating institutes for both research with, and technical assistance to, neglected tropical diseases-endemic countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. This NOFO will focus on research synthesis and operational research aimed at controlling and eliminating selected NTDs and other vector-borne parasitic diseases, as well as approaches to integrated activities that cross health sectors.
