Evaluating the Impact of Non-pharmaceutical Measures on the Incidence of Influenza-like Illness (ILI) among: This project aims to assess the impact of social distancing measures of interest that are implemented alone and/or in combination with improved personal and/or environmental hygiene practices on the incidence of influenza-like illness (ILI) and laboratory-confirmed influenza among K-12 school students and in surrounding communities in the United States. Applicant organizations will design and implement a cluster randomized controlled trial to evaluate the impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI) on ILI and laboratory-confirmed influenza rates in one or more kindergarten through grade 12 schools.
