FY 2006 FSP Participation Program: In accordance with Public Law 107-171, the Food and Nutrition Service is soliciting grant applications for the FY 2006 FSP Participation Program. A total of $5 million is available to eligible applicants. The purpose of this grant competition is to support efforts by State agencies and their community-based and faith-based partners to develop and implement:. Simple food stamp application and eligibility determination systems; or. Measures to improve access to food stamp benefits by eligible applicants.
