FY 2017 Tunisia Community College Scholarship Program: The Office of Global Educational Programs of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) announces an open competition for the FY 2017 Tunisia Community College Scholarship (TCCSP) Program. TCCSP provides international participants from underserved and underrepresented communities with an intensive academic-year-long program at accredited U.S. community colleges, focused on building technical and professional skills while deepening participants' understanding of the United States. TCCSP is one of two components of the broader Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program (TJSP). The second component of TJSP is the Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program (Tunisia UGRAD), which is also being openly competed in FY 2017 (Funding Opportunity Number: ECA-ECAAE-17-011) and can be accessed on Grant.gov and ECA's website. Applicant organizations are encouraged, but not required, to apply to administer both programs in order to promote efficiencies and maintain a unified program identity, particularly in the administration of recruitment and alumni activities. If one organization is awarded TCCSP and a different organization is awarded Tunisia UGRAD, both organizations will be expected to cooperate closely to promote the programs under the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program.
