FY 2019 SUMMER EBT: USDA is launching a fresh phase of the Summer EBT demonstrations focusing on new projects that will test innovative strategies for building and operating Summer EBT projects efficiently, effectively, and with integrity. The ultimate goal is to demonstrate how Summer EBT can best be deployed as a complement to other Federal, State, and local efforts to feed needy children in the summer, and operated in a way that makes efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
