Additional Information on Eligibility
Eligible applicants under this program are States, tribes, and designated or direct recipients under 49 U.S.C. 5307, 49 U.S.C. 5310, or 49 U.S.C. 5311 that are in areas of persistent poverty. However, if the applicant is not an active direct recipient of FTA funding, the applicant should obtain a commitment from a direct recipient to apply for grant funding on their behalf in FTA's grant management system (TrAMS) if they are selected for award.
